In the Twilight series, how does Charlie feel about Bella and Edward? Do they ever find out he's a vampire?

How does Charlie feel about Edward and Bella's relationship together? Does he ever find out that Edward and the entire Cullen family are vampires? Does he care or not? Does he know about how Bella is in a lot of danger and that Edward loves Bella more than any other human? Oh, and what do they mean by that Jacob imprints on Bella's baby? Thanks a lot guys!
