Free criminal records? URGENT?

My cousin's baby's daddy has been in jail. no one knew why. he just got out like last week. my cousin is coming over for a thanksgiving dinner tonight, and wants to bring him. I don't feel comfortable letting this man who spent years in jail, then went back Again for breaking parole, into my house without knowing what he did. anyone know where i could get his criminal record for free? i have his name and everything like that. (ps it was in ohio, im in georgia. i cant go to the local courthouse)
