Badminton: Is a YY and Yonex the same? Or are they different brands? Someone answer me?

Can someone answer me? Because I'm going to get a YY racket but I don't really know because someone is getting it for me, and I'm not sure is YY is the same as Yonex. That person sayid the logo has a "YY" on it. Yonex has those circles and triangles... so I'm confused...
